Alex was introduced to ballroom dancing at the age of nine in Chernigiv, Ukraine and soon began competing in local and international Dancesport championships. With aspirations of a career in dance, he pursued formal education from the Ballroom Dance Choreography and Training Department at the State University of Culture and Arts. To advance his career as a professional dancer, he moved to the United States where he became a US National 10-Dance Champion and finalist in many prestigious competitions. As a dance instructor, Alex continues to train with the world’s most renowned ballroom teachers and coaches. He is excited to share his knowledge and passion for dance with students in his new Vienna, VA studio.
